On 18.11.2022, the mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje together with the minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Mr. Naser Nuredini, the ambassador of Switzerland, Mrs. Veronik Ullman, the permanent representative of UNDP Mr. Armen Grigorjan joined the action for planting seedlings in Bogovinje.

Through this action, we aim to raise awareness and develop positive habits among students and young people because preserving the environment is a value.

Included in this action were the schools “Sami Frashëri” from Pirok, “Abdyl Frashëri” from Bogovinje, “Sabedin Bajrami” from Kamenjane, “Dervish Cara” from Pallçishti i Poshtëm and “Liria” from Zherovjan.

We remind you that the action is part of the project for improving flood resistance in the Pollog region.

The Youth council of the Municipality of Bogovinje in cooperation with the German Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Skopje foundation realizes a two-day training on November 26 and 27, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday) for:

-Job interview

The mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje together with the minister of education and science, Mr. Jeton Shaqiri inspected the works that have been done for the reconstruction of M.P.S. “Sabedin Bajrami”, in Kamenjane, as part of the schools in which the Ministry of education and science will ensure the improvement of the infrastructure for a better quality of the educational process.

According to the project that is supported by the European Bank for reconstruction and development, in the primary school “Sabedin Bajrami” it is planned to fix the facade, the sanitary facilities, the thermal insulation of the roof and the installation of a ramp for the movement of disabled people.

On October 17, 2022, within the breast cancer awareness month under the motto “TOGETHER WE CAN”, a panel discussion organized by the Youth council of the Municipality of Bogovinje with support from the Municipality of Bogovinje was successfully held with panelists:

– Prof. Dr. Nevzat Elezi – Dean at the FMS at UT,

– Dr. Vjollca Skenderi Neziri – Oncologist at the Clinical hospital of Tetovo,

– Dr. Argjend Imeri – Radiologist at the Clinical hospital of Tetovo,

– Dr. Fatmir Saliu – Surgeon at the Clinical hospital of Tetovo.

Today, the works for the realization of the project for the construction of the water supply system in Pallçisht i Poshtëm have started. This project is expected to be completed in a time frame of 9 months, depending on the atmospheric conditions, and will cost 277,000.00 euros.

Thanks go to the residents of Pallçisht i Poshtëm for their patience until the start of the works, the municipal administration as well as the central government headed by the Ministry of transport and communications for all the commitment to the start of the works.

On 30.09.2022, the mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje signed an agreement for two projects with the director of the Regional development bureau, Mr. Ramiz Rexhepi, which are expected to be realized in Novo Sello.

It is about the reconstruction of two local roads: the project for the reconstruction of the local road in Novo Sello in the value of 7,000,000 MKD and the project for the reconstruction of another local road, also in Novo Sello, in the value of 3,422,866 MKD.

The Municipality of Bogovinje will continue with the improvement of living conditions in each settlement.

On 29.09.2022, in the premises of the Municipality of Bogovinje the mayor Mr. Besnik Emshiu and the president of the Local youth council from the Municipality of Bogovinje Mr. Diturim Xheladini, welcomed the representatives of the Islamic Youth Forum – Tetovo, Mr. Mevlan Abazi and Mr. Ismet Tairi, with whom was discussed the implementation of the EUREKA project with elementary school students in our municipality.

Training for primary school students will be carried out throughout the academic year 2022-2023 with topics selected at the level of children as well as with selected trainers, from some topics that are in the interest of children we can mention a few: healthy living, eco – life, how to contribute to society, life with social networks (positive and negative sides of social networks), etc.

The Local youth council at the Municipality of Bogovinje will be responsible for the realization of the activities.

Today, the mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje together with the ministers Naser Nuredini, Blagoj Bochvarski and the deputy minister Bekim Rexhepi visited the village of Kamenjane to see closely the works that have been done in the reconstruction of the water supply network.

The completed project will improve the living conditions for the residents of the village of Kamenjane, while the value of the works is 214 thousand euros without VAT.

During this, it was also discussed about the project that foresees the reconstruction of the water supply pipeline in Pallçisht i Poshtëm, which amounts to 266 thousand euros. The works are expected to start soon after the signing of the contract for supervision.

Mr. Besnik Emshiu welcomed to the meeting the deputy minister in the Ministry for political system and relations between communities, Mr. Cabir Doko.

At the meeting, they discussed all the activities that are being done in the Municipality and the projects on the ground, while we also talked about the measures that the Municipality of Bogovinje has taken to save electricity based on government recommendations.

Together they visited the primary schools in the villages of Zherovjan, Rakovec, Pallçisht i Poshtëm, Novosellë, Sellcë e Keqe, Urviç and Novakë, where they distributed school bags and other school supplies to the students of the first grades, these donated by the mayor of the Municipality of Istanbul.

The mayor thanked deputy minister Cabir Doko and also conveyed thanks and gratitude to the mayor of the Municipality of Istanbul, Ekrem İmamoğlu.

On 06.09.2022, the next activity of the project “Increasing the awareness of the population in rural areas about the benefits of immunization” was held in the spaces of the Municipality of Bogovinje. This project is realized by the Association for sustainable development – BIOM, while the Municipality of Bogovinje expressed readiness for cooperation, in order for the residents of this Municipality to be informed and understand the great importance of regular immunization, with special emphasis during the Covid 19 pandemic.

The Municipality will always continue to be available to the citizens, offering them the appropriate services at the points closest to them.
