Municipality of Bogovinje, in cooperation with the residents of the village Kamenjane, started the regulation of so-called road “Imam Sead Ajruli” (1200 m2). The municipality will continue to invest in the construction of the road infrastructure in other settlements and to implement projects that will facilitate the life of the inhabitants.
The Municipality of Bogovinje started today with the opening of the road in the village Ciflik, which will enable connection and trade with the village Ciflik. This will be an intervention from the first phase, and then predictions will be made for the other phases in order to increase the living conditions in this settlement.
With this intervention, the early request of this settlement, which was promised by the mayor Albon Xhemaili, is realized.
The mayor of the municipality, Mr. Albon Xhemaili took part in the promotion of local and regional grants, which will be realized within the project “Improvement of Municipal Management” that will be implemented by UNDP and will be financed by the Delegation of the European Union.
Within this project Municipality of Bogovinje firstly will prepare integrated inclusion plan and then will be realized one project which is foreseen in the plan, the one that will be most needed (priority).
The next intervention by the municipality was vertical signalization of the settlements that are part of the Municipality of Bogovinje.
Vertical signalizations will help the citizens who do not have a clear orientation for these settlements.
Traffic signs are very important for each settlement, especially pedestrian crossings which are a safe passage for pedestrians, and therefore the municipality has taken measures regarding the marking of pedestrian crossings in the settlements of Bogovinje and Kamenjane.
The action for marking pedestrian crossings will continue in other settlements, in order to regulate the total road traffic.
The Municipality of Bogovinje has morally and materially supported the sport and culture and this time has decided to financially assist the country’s first athletic athlete at the republican level, Adrian Ismaili from the settlement Kamenjane, for participating in the European Championship in athletics that will be held in Rietti, Italy on 6-7 October this year.
The Municipality of Bogovinje under the leadership of the mayor, Mr. Albon Xhemaili, continues with projects that will facilitate the lives of the inhabitants. Today we started with the regulation of the road of the cemeteries till the Road of Valley. This road will facilitate the circulation of the vehicles and will ease the flow of the Road of Valley. It will also beautify the aesthetic appearance of this settlement. We thank the inhabitants of this settlement for the cooperation and we hope and believe that this cooperation will continue for other projects.

The mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Albon Xhemaili realized working meeting with the director of the project of USAID for the business ecosystem, Mrs. Mirjana Makedonska and the director of the Economic Chamber of the Northwest Macedonia, Mr. Drilon Iseni. The purpose of this project was to get acquainted with the specific activities of the project, which will be implemented as follows.
The project will work with business associations, chambers of commerce, financial institutions, training centers, companies that are looking to develop their value chains and other organizations that provide small and medium business services (SMEs). They will also work with financial institutions to enable increased funding for small and medium-sized enterprises. The project will seek to improve business services available to SMEs, as well as funding opportunities.
The first activity to be realized will be B2B meetings (direct company to company meeting) with SMEs from Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania in order to establish contacts between the companies that will realize their future cooperation in the activities in which they work.
The Municipality of Bogovinje realized the placement of concrete curbs in the sidewalks in the center of the village Bogovinje.
The placement of the curbs aims to increase the safety of the pedestrian movement respectively of the students.
Municipality of Bogovinje in cooperation with the inhabitants of the settlement Rakovec finished successfully the works on the road named “ The road of cemetery” of this settlement, with the length of 300 m.
Municipality will continue to invest in the regulation of the road infrastructure also in other settlements.
