On 19.05.2022, the mayor the Municipalityrof Bogovinje, Mr. Besnik Emshiu had a working meeting with the mayor of the Municipality of Shtime, Mr. Qemajl Aliu, in the Municipality of Shtime.

The main purpose of the meeting was the possibility of joint application as neighboring countries for IPA funds from the European Union, in the framework of cross-border cooperation, mainly in areas that have potential for development and investment.

The mayor Mr. Emshiu expressed readiness for cooperation through the application of funds that would benefit both municipalities, as well as the mayor Mr. Aliu expressed interest in cooperation for joint commitment for the common good of both municipalities.

After the meeting, the Recak Memorial Complex was also visited, which was built in honor of the martyrs of the Recak Massacre.

Yesterday, in the premises of the Municipality of Bogovinje, smart school tablets were distributed for fourth and fifth grade students.

The smart-tablets are a donation from the Ministry of education and science of RNM, while to the schools were distributed by the mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Besnik Emshiu and the Sector for public activities.

Always at the service of students, they are our common future.

The Local Youth Council at the Municipality of Bogovinje together with the Municipality, successfully marked Europe Day – May 9, with panelists from different fields. For one thing we all agreed, for us the sun rises in the west and we, rising professionally and training abroad, do not forget to return to our homeland, as we need this country and vice versa.

As a sign of respect and gratitude, books with national motives were distributed to the panelists to be a strong pillar not to forget the roots where we are from, regardless of where different winds will send us.

The President of the Local Youth Council of the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Diturim Xheladini together with all activists and organizers thanked all for participating in this event.

The Municipality of Bogovinje continues with various infrastructural works in primary schools.

The reconstruction of the external facade of the primary school in the settlement of Rakovec were successfully completed. Otherwise, the works continue for the heating of the school and the reconstruction of the interior facade.
