The water supply works in Pirok have been completed and the water has been put into use. Now the citizens of this settlement will be supplied with drinking water, and even more water has been captured than planned through additional works.
The inauguration ceremony of the water supply system was attended by the mayor the Municipality of Bogovinje, Albon Xhemaili, the minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Naser Nuredini, who also contributed to this project and several media.
Given the state of the toilets in the primary school in Rakovec, began the works on their regulation. The works will continue until their finalization. Also, in the primary school in Bogovinje was made the investment for improvement of the school yard and toilets.
Schools are the first to be looked at to meet the necessary and elementary conditions as our children are educated there.
As it has provided other machinery, Municipality of Bogovinje today managed to provide a vehicle for cleaning and maintenance of roads which will improve the quality of municipal services provided by MPSE “Sharri”, thus enabling more efficient management in the continuous maintenance of public cleanliness.
The vehicle was provided through the utility improvement project implemented by the Ministry of finance and supported by the World Bank.
The celebration for the finalization of the water supply works in Siniçan is over, now for the inhabitants of this settlement this will not be a problem.
“A few months ago we were here and we were in a completely different situation from today, we were faced with a lack of drinking water, the most basic thing that belongs to a human, many discussions were opened, a lot of controversy took place, politics also took place, but we all together managed to win. And today we will no longer drink water from store-bought bottles, but from our taps.” – said the mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje, today during the celebration of water supply.
On 30.10.2020, Municipality of Bogovinje started the works for water supply of the settlement Pirok.
This project is financed by the Municipality of Bogovinje and has a total value of 5.690.459,00 MKD and is co-financed by the Ministry of environment and physical planning with 2.450.000,00 MKD.
Such projects will continue, in order to improve the life quality of citizens.
