Besnik Emshiu was born on 13 July 1964 in the village Bogovinje, completed his primary education in his hometown, while he attended high school in the gymnasium “Kiril Pejcinoviq” in Tetovo, where he later moved to Prishtina to pursue his studies in the Technical Faculty in Prishtina, in the field of Machinery. By the profession he is Master of Machinery.

He started his career by being employed for the first time in the medical high school “Nikola Shtejn” in Tetovo where he worked for two years as a professor of mathematics, then later he was engaged in the professional high school “Mosha Pijade” in Tetovo as a professor of professional subjects of machinery where he is still engaged today. Later from 2010 to 2012 he was appointed deputy director of the professional high school “Mosha Pijade” Tetovo.

From the year 2012 to 2014 he was appointed a coordinator of the project for the education of the adults within the school “Mosha Pijade” for the Municipality of Tearce.

From the year 2014 to 2016 he was appointed a coordinator of the project for the education of the adults within the school “Mosha Pijade” for the Municipality of Tetovo.

From the year 2016 till today he is engaged as a professor part-time in the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Tetovo in the field of Traffic Engineering.
