The construction of the road called the “Road of cemetery” in the village of Rakovec, a road that connects both sides of the village, began.

Dear students, today for you the new school year begins. I wish you to start the better and dedicate yourself to learning and your education. Unlike the other settlements of our municipality, unfortunately, your peers from the village of Novo Selo will not be able to go to school in the school premises, but this start of the school year will start in private facilities. The Municipality of Bogovinje has provided facilities for maintenance, and these students have learning conditions, but we are aware that they are not even close to the conditions of the normal school. We are informing you that the Municipality of Bogovinje has completed all requests by the Ministry of Education and Science and has delivered them on date 17.11.2017. After this we were informed that the construction of the school in Novo Selo is envisaged in the budget of 2018. But as you determine this, nothing has happened. Once again, we ask the Ministry of Education and Science to begin the construction of the school in Novo Selo as soon as possible, in order for the students to have the opportunity to develop their learning in normal conditions. This is not the first reaction from our side where we ask the Ministry to take this problem seriously, because here we are talking about our children, the Albanian children who deserve to be treated better. We as a municipality will continue to help in the educational process in Novo Selo, but so are our possibilities and competences. We remind you that the responsibilities for the construction of educational facilities belong to the Ministry of Education and Science.

Dear citizens of the municipality of Bogovinje, this year was the first year in which the municipality of Bogovinje with the support of the Mayor, Mr. Albon Xhemaili started with the project “Municipality Bogovinje Celebrates”, which is intended for all citizens of the municipality of Bogovinje, while the time period in which the events are developed coincides with the arrival of our migrant workers. With music, sports, film and visual art, we have tried to make these summer days more interesting for everyone.

We started organizing the joint watching of the World Cup in the football “Russia 2018”, where we watched the semifinals and the finals on two evenings. In the first semifinal match on July 10 (France vs. Belgium), we had the honor to be among the well-known Bogovinje football player Blerim Xhemaili, who on behalf of the municipality of Bogovinje and the Mayor Albon Xhemaili was given gratitude for the special contribution to the affirmation of the Albanian sport in the world. Meanwhile, on July 11, we watched the second semifinal match between Croatia and England. The final between France and Croatia was followed on July 15 in the hall of the municipal council in the settlement Bogovinje.

We continued with an exhibition of paintings by painters who participated in the Art Colony organized by the Art Gallery – Tetovo, which was attended by painters from Ukraine, Turkey, Novi Pazar, Albania and local painters. On July 19, the inhabitants of the municipality of Bogovinje had the opportunity to see these works of the artists in the park in the center of the settlement Bogovinje.

The Camp “Dukat of Novo Selo”, organized by the society of mountaineers “Sharra Beauties” from 21-22 July, with the support of the society of mountaineers “Eyes of Sharra” and under the patronage of the municipality of Bogovinje, was the next activity of the project “Municipality of Bogovinje Celebrates”. More than 200 lovers of camps and nature lovers attended this sporting and recreational event.

The concert of modern music held on July 23 was the first of its kind organized in the municipality of Bogovinje since its establishment. On this entertaining evening, the eminent names of this genre of music, XXL Band and Elita Ziberi, DJ Eliot and Samba, Snow Black and well-known moderator and actor from Tetovo, Burhan Amiti with Stand Up comedy joined the scene.

On July 24th, we organized the evening of short films. Authors of films that are also from the municipality of Bogovinje, as prof. Senad Abduli and Mr. Agim Abdullah, presented two short films from their film opus, we also introduced the film of the director and producer Mr.. Arsim Fazliu. Prof. Senad Abduli was screened with the films “Awesome Time to Die” and “Aida”, the director, Mr. Agim Abdullah was presented with the films “Talk about Life” and “The Beginning”, while Mr. Arsim Fazliu was introduced with the film “The Gravedigger”. Participation in this event also testified about the need for cinema in our municipality, especially for younger generations who were first introduced to this way of watching movies.

Palciste hosted the last event of the project “Municipality of Bogovinje Celebrates”, where on August the 1 at the small football stadium “Concert for folk music” was held, with their participation in honor of the women choir “Teuta” – Tetovo, a great artist of the popular and civic song, maestro Jetmir Rexhepi, two wonderful rapsos and maestro of qiftelija, Mr. Kadri Selmani and Mr. Arif Luma, while students of the e.s. “Dervish Cara” recited some poetry on the topic of migration.

2018 was the first year in which the municipality of Bogovinje organized the project “Municipality of Bogovinje Celebrates” under the patronage of the mayor of Bogovinje, Albon Xhemaili. We believe that next year we will have a richer program.

On 23.07.2018, the Municipality of  Bogovinje organized a cultural activity within the project “Municipality of Bogovinje Celebrates”, which was dedicated to the migrants and residents of this municipality. The next activity was the concert of modern music with famous artists, as well as with Stand Up comedy by famous actor Burhan Amiti.

Last night, in the Municipality of Bogovinje stаrted a project dedicated to the Bogovinje migrants and inhabitants titled “Municipality of Bogovinje Celebrates”.

The first activity of this project was the joint watching of the semi-finals of the World Cup between France and Belgium at the Bogovinje settlement, in which was also present the symbol of football Blerim Xhemaili, on behalf of the Municipality of Bogovinje and its Мayor Albon Xhemaili to him was given a gratitude for the contribution made to the affirmation of the sport in the world, by the project organizer mr. Elmir Sejfullai.

The project “ Municipality of Bogovinje Celebrates” will continue with other cultural and sports events during the summer period, for which you will be informed on time.

Municipal competitions in volleyball and football were organized in the Municipality of Bogovinje, in which gratitude was awarded to teachers of physical education and for students.

Today, the 5th session of the council of the Municipality of Bogovinje was held at the Bogovinje Municipality facility in Kamjan. The session was opened by the president of the council, which proposed several items on the agenda, including the report on the first quarter of the municipal budget for 2018, an enlargement plan for the municipal budget and draft opinion about the excursions of elementary schools.

Also, the MPE “Sharri” director was present, regarding the points that were foreseen in the session for the 2017 plan and the curriculum for 2018. This topic encouraged positive debate on waste issues and drinking water problem solving , where the director of the company himself pointed out that the problem with the waste was regional and that the long-term problem of this problem is being worked out, while for drinking water there are tools which will initially be interfaced with villages with greater water problems and that does not mean that other villages will be bypassed.

In the address of the council of Bogovinje Municipality, two requests were received, which were approved. One was for helping a resident of the village of Sedllarca, namely the release of the tax on the legalization of the facility and the other one intended for financial assistance for the opening of an association in the Municipality of Bogovinje for people with special needs.
