Primary school activities

In the municipal primary school “Sabedin Bajrami” – Kamjan were held municipal competitions in football and volleyball, where participants were all elementary schools of the Municipality of Bogovinje.

Football
First place: M.P.S. “Sabedin Bajrami”, Kamenjane.
Second place: M.P.S. “Sami Frasheri”, Pirok.
Third place: M.P.S. “Dervish Cara”, Lower Palçishte.
Volleyball
First place: M.P.S. “Abdyl Frashëri”, Bogovinje.
Second place: M.P.S. “Dervish Cara”, Lower Palçishte.
Third place: M.P.S. “Sabedin Bajrami”, Kamjan.

At the end, the mayor of the municipality, Mr. Albon Xhemaili awarded gratitude to the teachers and the schools for participation and he donated a football and volleyball ball for all participating schools.

In the municipal primary school “Sami Frashëri” – Pirok were realized the municipal competitions “Semaphore for the children 2019”, in which students were selected to represent the municipal team in the republican competitions. Also, gratitude was given to the teachers and students participating in these competitions.

Visit by the students of the primary school “Sabedin Bajrami”

On 24.04.2019, the students of the municipal primary school “Sabedin Bajrami” visited the Municipality of Bogovinje.
The students had the opportunity to meet with the mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Albon Xhemaili, who gave explanations for the role of the municipality for the citizens, the way of functioning of local self-government and the services that the administration provides to citizens of this municipality.

Mr. Xhemaili at the solemn opening of the Association “DR. ARIF SELMANI”

Тhe mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Albon Xhemaili on 20.04.2019 was present at the founding of the Association “DR. ARIF SELMANI” from youth of the village of Upper Sedlarce.
During the speech, the mayor congratulated all the initiators for the establishment of this Association and pointed that it was a great privilege that was invited to this event. He also called to the leadership that in the future to work only for the benefit of the community they represent, but also in no way politicize the same.
And finally, the mayor urged to the organs of the Association that the mayor’s office and the Municipality of Bogovinje are open to cooperation in all areas, by the possibilities that the municipality has.

Mr. Albon Xhemaili in negotiations with the minister of Local Self Government, Mr. Suhejl Fazliu

The Minister of Local Self -Government, Suhejl Fazliu today hosted in his cabinet the mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Albon Xhemaili with whom they talked about the current activities in this municipality, development plans, solution of infrastructure problems and opportunities for using state funds dedicated to the municipalities and European Union funds.

Minister Fazliu expressed his readiness to support the initiatives of the Municipality of Bogovinje, highlighting, on the one hand, limited opportunities of the Ministry of Local Self-Government and on the other hand the many opportunities offered by the funds of state budget and EU funds.

During the meeting, the mayor Mr. Xhemaili thanked the minister Fazliu for the possibility of financing the projects of Municipality of Bogovinje. The projects that will be financed by the planning regions are: procurement of equipment for maintaining the public cleanliness, as well as the project for construction and improvement of fecal sewerage in the Polog region.

Also, as a project funded by European Union, that is implemented by the Ministry of Local Self-Government and UNDP is the procurement of waste containers for the improvement of the municipal waste management that will offer to the municipality the improvement of the hygiene and the environment.

The minister Fazliu urged to be used the opportunity to apply with a project to the call that is currently opened by the cross-border cooperation program between the Northern Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Kosovo, as well as other opportunities will have also by the call that will be in the following months between the Northern Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Serbia.

At the end of the meeting, minister Fazliu said that the Ministry of Local Self-Government is opened for cooperation with all available capacities for fruitful cooperation in the interest of citizens.

The project “Exhibition of Paintings”

In the municipal primary school “Sabedin Bajrami”- Kamenjane was realized the project “Exhibition of Paintings”.

This project was attended by the students of the primary schools of the Municipality of Bogovinje with their works. This project financially was supported by the Ministry of Culture within the annual program.

Also, presents were given to all participating students as well as their teachers.

We thank students, teachers, TV Uskana as well as the Ministry of Culture for the realization of this project.

The Municipality of Bogovinje signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Economic Chamber of Tourism of the RNM

At today’s meeting of the mayor of  Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Albon Xhemaili with the representatives of the Economic Chamber of Tourism of the Republic of North Macedonia was signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of tourism, to develop and strengthen their relations, in order to achieve a useful cooperation.

This memorandum aims to exchange experiences of attracting tourists, which is also an important factor for the country’s economy.

Approved by USAID the project for installing central heating in the primary school “Sabedin Bajrami”

Today, the Municipality of Bogovinje has received the results announced by USAID for funding the twelve schools in the North Macedonia, respectively their renovation.

The municipality applied for the installation of the central heating system of the “Sabedin Bajrami” primary school in the settlement Upper Sedllarce. From the results announced by USAID, the project for central heating installation in this school has been approved and is one of the twelve schools, the renovation of which will be funded by this project.

Meeting with the “ADI” association from Gostivar

The mayor of the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Albon Xhemaili had a meeting today with representatives of the association “ADI”- Gostivar.
The purpose of the meeting was for the non-governmental organizations to strengthen their capacities, to complete applications and to increase co-operation with the municipality for future projects.
