Next activity from the Youth council of the Municipality of Bogovinje
On October 17, 2022, within the breast cancer awareness month under the motto “TOGETHER WE CAN”, a panel discussion organized by the Youth council of the Municipality of Bogovinje with support from the Municipality of Bogovinje was successfully held with panelists:
– Prof. Dr. Nevzat Elezi – Dean at the FMS at UT,
– Dr. Vjollca Skenderi Neziri – Oncologist at the Clinical hospital of Tetovo,
– Dr. Argjend Imeri – Radiologist at the Clinical hospital of Tetovo,
– Dr. Fatmir Saliu – Surgeon at the Clinical hospital of Tetovo.

The president of the Local youth council from the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Diturim Xheladini hosted the representative of the German foundation FRIEDRICH EBERT STIFTUNG, Mrs. Nita Starova to see the possibility of cooperation in various fields related to youth, problems and solving those problems in the Municipality of Bogovinje.
Since we as a municipality need the advancement and involvement of young people in terms of civic activism, we were given maximum support from the German foundation to carry out training and activities in coordination with our 2020-2025 strategy for young people in our municipality.
Young people are the engine of our society, therefore we are committed to work in this direction – empowering and supporting young people – orientation and commitment to the labor market.
Workshop with the children of the Municipality of Bogovinje
Yesterday, the Local Youth Council near the Municipality of Bogovinje held a workshop in the Bogovinje in the place called “Sports recreation center” within the “Local Initiative” project together with children from the primary schools of our Municipality, where we aimed to learn about recycling, the benefits of the mountain, nature and all the greenery.
Together with the children, we emphasized that we know about recycling and work in that direction, so we created some figures and objects with recycled plastic and paper.
The Local Youth Council works and will continue to contribute with children as well as in the protection of nature with all forms and mechanisms, but first with education of the future, which are CHILDREN.
Thanks to all participants, great things are coming.
Europe Day event – May 9
The Local Youth Council at the Municipality of Bogovinje together with the Municipality, successfully marked Europe Day – May 9, with panelists from different fields. For one thing we all agreed, for us the sun rises in the west and we, rising professionally and training abroad, do not forget to return to our homeland, as we need this country and vice versa.
As a sign of respect and gratitude, books with national motives were distributed to the panelists to be a strong pillar not to forget the roots where we are from, regardless of where different winds will send us.
The President of the Local Youth Council of the Municipality of Bogovinje, Mr. Diturim Xheladini together with all activists and organizers thanked all for participating in this event.
Ecological action “Let’s clean the Municipality of Bogovinje”
The ecological action “Let’s clean the Municipality of Bogovinje” by the Local Youth Council of the Municipality of Bogovinje was successfully implemented, together with the Municipality of Bogovinje and with the help of the primary school “Abdyl Frashëri” – Bogovinje and primary school ” Sabedin Bajrami “- Kamenjane, through their students they gave their contribution, who also gave a message to people not to pollute the environment, to preserve it and to take care of it.
French and German volunteers also joined the action, helping and motivating children about the importance of nature – for everything around us.
Such actions and events aimed at young people will continue even further as together they can do great things.
